Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for critical engineering and technical roles. This on-site role partners with hiring managers to shape hiring strategies, identify top talent, and close positions in competitive markets from our Torrance, CA headquarters.

You will own the recruiting process end-to-end, collaborate with leaders, and uphold Valar’s standards for candidate experience, equity, and inclusion in a fast-growing company environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting.
• Proven track record of hiring for engineering or other highly technical roles.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Strong ability to assess candidate quality and alignment beyond resumes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

• Define and identify top talent needs with hiring managers for engineering, manufacturing, and related functions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to engage top technical talent and close hires.
• Advise hiring managers on role requirements, interview plans, and hiring criteria.
• Improve hiring funnel and equitable interview processes; explore new tools and market data.
• Drive an efficient interview process from outreach to close.
• Advocate for an excellent candidate experience and for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
