Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, reports filed, and coordination with client representatives for quality service.

The role involves coaching staff, scheduling, training, and maintaining coverage across posts, while complying with company policies and state/federal requirements. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related security experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security or retail settings preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations, patrol, inspection and response.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to client sites; ensures post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and reports filed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; documents actions and seeks guidance as needed.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives to provide assurance that security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service.
