Job summary

Securitas Security is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites in Dallas, TX. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed, while coaching staff and maintaining coverage across posts.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience, plus retail exposure. You may train personnel and liaise with clients to meet all security requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to client site(s); ensures post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and reviews post orders and assignments with subordinates.
• Assists in submission of payroll and personnel information as designated.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions with management coordination.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities to subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• Carries out supervisory duties: interviewing, orienting, training, planning, directing work, coaching, appraising, rewarding/disciplining, hiring and termination recommendations.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
