Job summary

Serva LLC, in partnership with our client, seeks an experienced security supervisor to lead a six-officer team at a highly visible private school. You will be the on-site point of contact for campus leadership, ensuring the team's performance, morale, and growth.

You will spend time on campus, supervise scheduling, mentor officers, and maintain proactive communication with faculty, staff, and families, reflecting Serva's standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a security supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to lead a team including part-time staff with clear communication.
• Good problem-solving instincts and sound judgment.
• Comfortable working within a school community and respecting its culture.
• Reliable and organized with scheduling and incident report responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of armed officers, including scheduling and day-to-day performance management.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the security team and school administration.
• Conduct regular campus walk-throughs to stay visible and supportive.
• Respond to and manage security incidents with proper documentation and follow-up.
• Coach and develop officers through mentoring and growth opportunities.
• Align with the client's culture and day-to-day expectations.
• Provide clear recommendations to Serva leadership.
• Balance strong security with a approachable school environment.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new officers at the site.
