Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Scheduling Manager to oversee development, maintenance, updating, and reporting of project construction schedules. You will facilitate schedule communications among stakeholders and serve as liaison for the owner’s scheduler.

Qualified candidates bring a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management and 5–7 years of scheduling experience on large commercial projects. Strong leadership and software proficiency are required for success.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 5-7 years scheduling experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Primavera, ASTA and MS Office with data-driven scheduling.
• Knowledge of EVM, CPM, TIA, and WBS methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize earned value management principles to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Review schedule specifications and ensure proper sequence development and logic changes.
• Develop schedule fragments for impacts and identify corrective actions.
• Prepare schedule status reports and narrative for management and owner.
• Verify and manage the project schedule information across stakeholders.
• Perform schedule analytics including baseline comparisons and progress.
