Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Scheduling Manager for a full‑time, on‑site role. You will oversee development, maintenance, updating and reporting of project schedules, coordinating with internal teams and the owner's scheduler.

Lead a team, apply earned value methods, and use Primavera/ASTA with strong communication skills. The role emphasizes schedule analytics, continuous improvement, and adherence to project baselines.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 5-7 years of scheduling experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Experience leading a team.
• Expertise in leading software tools (Primavera, ASTA, MS Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), CPM, and WBS methodologies.
• Experience with Federal Project contracts/scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project schedules and report progress.
• Facilitate schedule communication between internal stakeholders and the owner's scheduler.
• Create work breakdown structures and analyze variances from the baseline plan.
• Prepare schedule activity status, reporting and narratives for project management and owner.
• Coordinate weekly trade partner schedule meetings and discuss changes and progress.
