Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Scheduling Engineer for a full-time, on-site role at a designated Alabama location. You will develop, monitor, and maintain procurement and project schedules, ensuring milestones are met through WBS, estimates, and earned value analysis.

Applicant should have a Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering and 5+ years of scheduling experience, with familiarity with scheduling software and CPM/EVM techniques. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with scheduling software.
• Proficiency in developing, resource loading, analyzing, and reporting on project schedules.
• Strong understanding of EVM, CPM, TIA, and WBS methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using WBS and time-impact analyses.
• Create baseline schedules with updates and recovery plans with trade partners.
• Communicate schedule status to field staff, consultants, and clients.
• Produce contract-mandated reports and narrative updates.
• Identify schedule risks and implement mitigation actions.
• Forecast variances and manage cash flow projections.
• Lead scheduling training for project staff.
