Job summary

Magnus-Metal Ltd. is expanding its multidisciplinary R&D team and seeks a Service Engineer to define, lead and perform all service and maintenance tasks on our in-house systems. You will optimize service processes, document procedures, and support customers on-site and remotely to maximize uptime.

The role requires strong communication in an intercultural environment, effective problem solving, and the ability to train team members and customers while adapting to project timelines and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in multidisciplinary system support and troubleshooting.
• Strong service orientation with methodical troubleshooting.
• Ability to improve service time and maximize system uptime.
• Responsive on-site and remote support to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate/execute preventive maintenance across systems.
• Data analysis, reporting and recommending service improvements.
• Contribute to documentation and build service procedures.
• Train team members and customers in technical topics.
• Excellent communication in intercultural environments and teamwork.
• Ability to learn quickly and present complex technical concepts in English.
• Capable of working under technical and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead, coordinate and perform all service and maintenance tasks on in-house systems.
• Optimize and document service processes and procedures.
• Support on-site and remote customers to maximize uptime.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance (PMs) across systems.
• Gather data and generate reports to drive service improvements.
• Assist with documentation and development of service procedures.
• Provide training to team members and customers on system operation.
