Job summary

Lan Handling is seeking a Mechatronics Field Service Engineer to cover the Americas. You will travel to customer sites across North and South America to install, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN automation systems.

When not traveling, you provide remote support, connect to machines, analyze software, and minimize downtime. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and upgrades onsite, and contribute feedback to the Service and Engineering teams in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

Experience in a service organization related to machine building or industrial automation.
Knowledge of servo drives and robot software.
Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Isah).
Customer-oriented, decisive, proactive, and autonomous.

Responsibilities

Travel across North and South America to support and optimize LAN installations.
Provide remote support and analyze software to minimize downtime.
Perform onsite inspections, preventive maintenance, and machine upgrades.
Commission software modifications and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues.
Share recommendations with customers and feedback to Service and Engineering teams.
