Job summary

Iron Mountain in the United States seeks a Team Lead for relocation operations at the assigned facility. You will serve as the primary on-site leader, ensuring accurate chain-of-custody, safety, and timely movement of archival materials under strict regulatory controls.

You will supervise material handling, coordinate with NARA and site contacts, maintain sequence integrity, and drive daily task planning to balance workloads while adhering to OSHA standards. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising large-scale relocation or records management projects.
• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain necessary clearances.
• Demonstrated integrity, judgment, and independent decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Must complete NARA orientation and IRS training before handling records.

Responsibilities

• On-site leadership of material handling: direct pulling, loading, staging, unloading, weighing, and sorting.
• Chain-of-Custody & Audit Compliance: Oversee 12-step verification and tracking; coordinate with NARA inspections.
• File Plan & Sequence Control: Ensure records are pulled and reshelved in precise sequence with proper shelf balance.
• Safety & Equipment Oversight: Ensure OSHA compliance; supervise loads up to 50 lbs; coordinate forklift operations.
• Client Liaison: Maintain daily contact with NARA Shipping Coordinator and on-site contacts; halt operations if discrepancies.
• Site Management & Cleanup: Plan daily tasks and reassign workloads to balance.
