Job summary

Southport Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Dispatcher in Wisconsin to serve as the air-traffic controller for our technician teams. You will build the daily call board, assign calls by location and urgency, and keep the day moving efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site service environment.

You’ll partner with CSR and field staff to maintain steady workflow. You’ll communicate ETA updates to customers, triage urgent requests, and adjust the schedule as needs change.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong geographic awareness and route planning skills.
• Calm under pressure with decisive decision-making.
• Clear, direct communication with technicians and customers.
• Detail-oriented and organized; no tasks fall through the cracks.
• Experience in field service or trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the daily call board, assigning calls by location, skill, and urgency.
• Monitor technician progress in real time and address delays or conflicts.
• Fill gaps by rebooking or coordinating with CSR for same-day availability.
• Manage emergency and urgent calls and communicate changes to customers and techs.
• Track locations, statuses, and ETAs using ServiceTitan.
• Serve as primary contact for technicians and escalate customer concerns when needed.
• Maintain accurate job records and support daily reporting.
