Job summary

Sares Regis Group of Northern California seeks a Project Manager to support development teams on industrial, lab and office projects in San Mateo, CA. This on-site role demands strong scheduling, budgeting and stakeholder communication to advance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under senior leadership and the Project Director, participate in RFPs, design reviews and procurement activities, and maintain rigorous document control and reporting across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University required.
• 2-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager (or in architecture, engineering, construction, or another related field). Exposure to MEP systems and commissioning is a plus.
• This is an in-person role, working on site and in Client’s offices five days a week.
• A personal vehicle, valid U.S. driver’s license, and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Supports schedule & budget management, reporting and progress tracking across multiple projects.
• Assists in documenting user and stakeholder requirements, procuring design and construction services and coordinating reviews and approvals.
• Attends client status meetings and prepares notes and reports on project progress.
• Reviews consultant proposals, contracts and invoices; tracks cash flow and prepares forecasts.
• Provides project management support across all phases of development and maintains organized electronic project files.
