Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an experienced Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on a utility-scale solar project in Yerington, NV. You will implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan, manage inspections, audits, and CAPAs, and coordinate with client representatives and subcontractors.

The role requires 3–5 years of solar QA/QC experience, relevant certifications, and travel to on-site locations. Proficiency with Sunscreen software and Procore is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in utility‑scale solar quality management.
• Certifications like ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma and OSHA 10/30 are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Experience with project management software (Procore, Primavera P6) and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on remote project locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Quality Management and Planning with the Regional Quality Manager, implementing the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP) and enforcing QMS standards.
• Develop the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for the project and oversee defined work features.
• Conduct inspections and audits per ITP, SSQP, and contract requirements; document findings and verify corrective actions.
• Identify, report, and manage nonconformance; lead root cause analysis and develop CAPA.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, NCRs, test results, and quality metrics; use Sunscreen software for reporting.
• Review subcontractor QA plans, audit their work, and ensure supplied materials meet specs.
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and feed back to engineering/procurement; conduct post-construction reviews.
• Ensure all site activities comply with contract requirements, manufacturer instructions, and codes/regulations.
