Yates Construction is seeking a Quality Control Specialist – Civil & Structural (Federal) to support a Fort Hood, TX federal project on-site. This role reports to the QC Manager and is dedicated to quality control, not production.

The position requires civil/structural expertise, Texas PE, and direct employment by the general contractor. On-site duties include daily QC, plan reviews, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders.

Competenze

Graduate Civil Engineer or Construction Manager with a Texas PE registration.
2 years of civil construction experience or 5 years as technician.
Must be employed directly by the general contractor.

Mansioni

Serve as the designated QC Specialist for civil and structural construction activities.
Physically present at the site daily to conduct QC activities and assist the QC Manager.
Review plans, specifications, and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
Document inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
Participate in QC meetings and coordination sessions with stakeholders.
Ensure each definable feature of work meets government acceptance criteria.
Assist with training events, QC documentation, and DoD/USACE inspections.
