Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager for federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX (traveling). You will lead the CQC program, coordinate with Government QA reps, and ensure compliance with USACE/NAVFAC contracts, UFC, and project specs.

Responsibilities include developing CQC and Quality Plans, managing DFOW, conducting inspections and testing, maintaining NCR logs, and delivering timely reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of construction quality control experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of commercial, industrial, federal, or heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• Experience serving as Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control with PMs, engineers, and trade partners to ensure 100% compliant work.
• Develop and maintain project-specific CQC Plans and Quality Management Plans.
• Coordinate DFOW and the Three Phases of Control and chair related meetings.
• Review test reports, NCR logs, and deficiency tracking; ensure corrective actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly QC reports and quality metrics; support project closeout.
