Job summary

Robinson Construction is seeking an On-Site Quality Control Inspector - CWI to oversee QC activities on our heavy industrial projects. You will supervise self-performed work, monitor subcontracted trades, and inspect weld quality, workmanship, and conformance to project specifications.

The role requires a minimum of five years in QC/QA on similar construction, knowledge of ACI, ICC, AWS and ASME codes, and CWI/ICC S2 certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QC/QA construction inspection experience.
• Knowledge of ACI, ICC, AWS and ASME codes.
• CWI and/or ICC S2 Special Inspector preferred.
• Piping VT Inspector Level II; knowledge of ASME codes.
• NDE knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welds for conformity to codes and document results.
• Oversee self-performed and subcontracted work for code compliance.
• Coordinate 3rd party inspections and permit inspections.
• Maintain quality records and assist turnover documentation.
• Support project managers and participate in weekly QC meetings.
