Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a General Manager to lead on-site operations, coordinating across departments to meet company objectives. You will partner with Directors and the Board to implement projects and deliver quality service.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring contractual obligations, conducting inspections, and managing budgets. A CAM certification and a bachelor’s degree are required, with strong leadership and operational prowess expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property operations, hospitality, or construction.
• Must be CAM certified and licensed by Florida.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership to assigned property and book of business.
• Manage the functions of a team within a property while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Act as liaison to ensure quality service and Board expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of the contract between the association and FirstService Residential.
• Initiate contact with new residents.
• Conduct site inspections and provide improvement recommendations.
• Oversee all construction projects and ensure maintenance within budget.
• Create and maintain information in the portal (work orders, meeting minutes, reports).
• Interview, hire, train and schedule staff; ensure proper coverage.
