Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a Property Manager Assistant I to work on-site in our residential community. You will coordinate apartment turnover, assist with eviction proceedings as directed by the Community Property Manager, and oversee maintenance and security operations to keep the property safe and well-maintained.

Applicants should have property management experience, be able to work flexible hours, and pass fingerprint and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property management.
• Ability to work under emotional stress with challenging clients.
• Fingerprint clearance and background checks required.
• On-site property management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate apartment turnover and ensure units are rent-ready.
• Oversee maintenance staff and coordinate work orders.
• Maintain work records and incident reports.
• Supervise security staff and resolve incidents.
• Follow up on resident complaints and inquiries.
• Coordinate security services to ensure premises safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
