Job summary

HRDE (Human Resource Development and Employment, Inc.) is seeking a Resident Manager for Cabell-Huntington Unity Apartments in Huntington, WV. This part-time role (28 hours/week) involves managing occupancy, tenant coordination, and coordinating maintenance with staff and contractors.

The position requires at least two years of housing management or supervisory experience, knowledge of building maintenance practices, and the ability to work with tenants and the community.

Qualifications

• At least two years housing management and/or supervisory experience is required.
• Knowledge of construction and building maintenance practices is required (air conditioning, electrical, carpentry, plumbing).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and the community.

Responsibilities

• Manage the apartment complex to maintain full occupancy.
• Market the area to recruit tenants and determine eligibility (criminal background, financial, lease checks).
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities and supervise workers.
