Job summary

MDI Management in Oregon is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to lead a portfolio of multifamily communities across the state. This field-based role requires daily on-site presence and a proactive, front-line leadership style to drive occupancy and ensure superior operations.

You will manage leasing teams, conduct property walks, review performance, coordinate maintenance, and stay ahead of market trends to keep properties competitive.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience.
• 2+ years in leadership with direct reports.
• Experience with larger communities of 300-400+ units.
• Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive occupancy and leasing performance across 6–10 communities.
• Lead and develop leasing teams on-site daily.
• Conduct property walks and ensure standards are met.
• Review reports, guest cards, and follow ups to improve conversions.
• Monitor market trends and pricing strategies.
• Oversee marketing activity and lead generation.
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure units turn smoothly.
• Ensure audits, renewals, and reporting accuracy.
