Oak Island Accommodations is seeking a Property Manager Assistant for the Oak Island, NC area. This on-site role supports property management and hospitality operations, requiring weekend/holiday availability and a valid driver’s license.

You will maintain homeowner relationships, perform inspections, and ensure timely communication with owners and tenants. The position emphasizes compliance with NC rental laws and coordination with multiple departments to uphold service standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Property management or hospitality experience.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
• Ability to manage owners and tenants in heightened emotional states professionally.
• Ability to negotiate with individuals with empathetic observation.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Explain Oak Island Accommodations' short-term rental management program to potential clients.
• Be familiar with rental agreements and related management documents.
• Refer to NC rental laws and REALTOR manuals when required.
• Welcome unscheduled clients at the front desk and commute to properties as needed.
• Maintain homeowner relationships through frequent contact via email, phone, or in person.
• Return calls and emails promptly, aiming for same-day or next-business-day responses.
• Improve services to homeowners, tenants, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with other property managers, vendors, and team members.
• Complete routine home inspections and report maintenance or housekeeping issues.
