Job summary

Intown Suites in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep the property well-maintained and safe. The role requires living on the property during employment and being on call for emergencies, with duties including preventive maintenance on guest rooms and common areas, room repairs, and general upkeep.

The position also functions as the Property Attendant on a rotating basis. Candidates should be able to work long hours, lift heavy items, and use a range of hand and

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in potentially stressful situations.
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components, electrical supplies and materials.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools (drills, meters, probes).

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and building exteriors, clean and repair as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms on a schedule.
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner.
• Be on call for emergencies.
• Occasionally serve as Property Attendant per schedule.
• Complete punch list items in maintenance room (drywall, paint, repairs).
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards to supervisor.
