Job summary

InTown Suites Woods Cross is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to care for the property's upkeep, preventative maintenance, and on-call needs, while living on site during employment.

You will perform routine repairs in guest rooms, maintain grounds, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure safety standards are met.

This on-site role requires lifting heavy loads, weekend work, and operation of basic hand and power tools; InTown Suites offers strong benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Follow instructions efficiently with strong communication skills.
• Ability to compose and express thoughts clearly for effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple activities, often in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, safety procedures, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, clean and repair building surfaces, and ensure cleanliness.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms and equipment on a schedule.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies promptly.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervision at shift end.
• Operate hand and power tools and use testing equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors and assume Property Attendant duties part of the week.
