Job summary

INTOWN SUITES Orlando is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to oversee daily upkeep of the hotel property, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests. You will live on site during employment and cover on-call emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning grounds, maintaining building exteriors, repairing vacancies, rooms and fixtures, and coordinating with supervisors. Strong mechanical skills and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English.
• Follow instructions efficiently.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in stressful situations.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and basic repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify needs.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Organize work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, keep areas clean and free of clutter.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel property and equipment.
• Repair vacant rooms, walls, appliances, furniture, carpet and cabinets.
• Conduct maintenance on guest rooms and service areas on schedule.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Notify supervisor of safety, security or guest concerns.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor before shift end.
• Follow the Property Attendant/On-Call Agreement and perform tasks as assigned.
