Job summary

Intown Suites in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to upkeep the hotel property and equipment. This on-site role requires living on the property during employment and responding to emergencies as needed.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and routine safety checks, handle on-call duties, and occasionally serve as the Property Attendant 1–2 days per week as directed by management. Experience with HVAC, electrical work, and tool use is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to compose and express thoughts clearly for effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily property and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Live on property during the term of employment.
• Be on-call for emergencies and respond promptly.
• Assist as Property Attendant 1–2 days per week as directed by management.
