Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for Solstice at Eastland Yards in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the property meets Greystar's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, managing supplies, documenting requests, and assisting with grounds maintenance. You will also support cost-control efforts and safety training, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance following policies and safety standards.
• Make-ready process for vacant units including pre-move-in inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify maintenance supervisor when re-ordering.
• Document and close out service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; pressure-wash breezeways and pool areas.
• Repair rather than replace parts when possible to control costs.
• Assist in property inspections to identify safety and risk concerns.
• Monitor contractor work for quality and scope compliance.
• Provide ongoing communication of property needs to management.
• Flexible schedule with on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
