Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for Edge Flats in Winston-Salem, NC. This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, make-ready inspections, inventory control, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver's license required to operate a golf cart or on-site vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Executes make-ready process for vacant units, prepares punch lists, schedules vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Tracks inventory, accesses materials, and notifies supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
