Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of a garden-style community at Perimeter Pointe in Charlotte, NC. The role covers routine tasks, make-ready readiness for new move-ins, inventory control, and safety compliance.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license, with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive benefits are offered with comprehensive onsite support.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections, making a punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervision when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and basic maintenance as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Education

EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
