Lefferts Investments in Miami Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and upkeep of residential units and common areas. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in condominium, apartment, hotel, or residential property environment preferred.
• Know-how in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, painting, drywall and carpentry.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance across the property.
• Inspect units and common areas for safety and maintenance issues.
• Carry out basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, lighting, fixtures, and doors.
• Troubleshoot issues and report complex repairs to supervisor.
• Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance within training scope.
• Replace bulbs, filters, fixtures, and hardware as needed.
• Handle minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and storage.
• Perform safety checks and report hazards or leaks immediately.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized work.
• Keep accurate records of completed work orders and inspections.
