Job summary

rossorecruiting seeks a maintenance technician in Joliet, IL for a full-time, on-site position. The role offers on-property housing and a competitive hourly rate up to $40, with overtime and weekend requirements.

Candidates should have 2+ years of maintenance experience and HVAC familiarity; certification is recommended. The job involves general repairs across the property, handling work orders, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the maintenance team to keep the community running

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience required (apartment maintenance preferred).
• HVAC experience preferred; certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanic repairs and replacements, furnaces, split systems, water heaters, and other maintenance tasks.
• Completes general labor tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Handles designated work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
• Assists maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
• Knows when to escalate maintenance issues to management.
• Maintains a courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors.
• Performs general cleaning and snow removal.
• Works on-call, overtime, weekend, holiday, and evening hours as required.
