Job summary

rossorecruiting is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role at a residential community in Illinois. The position requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, with HVAC experience preferred. Certification is recommended but not required.

You will perform day-to-day repairs, preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly. On-site housing is available, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience required; apartment/maintenance background preferred
• HVAC experience preferred; certification recommended
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and replacements (furnaces, water heaters, split systems) and preventive maintenance
• Handles work orders and service requests in a timely manner
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and coordinates with residents and vendors
• Assists with on-call, overtime, weekend, and holiday work as required
• Keeps safety and quality standards while providing courteous service
