Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanic repairs and replacements, furnaces, split systems, water heaters, and other maintenance tasks.
• Completes general labor tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Handles designated work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
• Assists maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
• Knows when to escalate maintenance issues to management.
• Maintains a courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors.
• Performs general cleaning and snow removal.
• Works on-call, overtime, weekend, holiday, and evening hours as required.

• Frequently lifts and carries up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 80 pounds
• Pushes and/or pulls appliances using an appliance dolly up to 200 pounds
• Moves objects from one floor to another
• Frequently bends/stoops, climbs stairs, kneels, balances, reaches above shoulder height, walks, and twists
• Normal range of vision, hearing, and speech required
