Job summary

Timberland Partners is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for White Bear Woods in White Bear Lake, MN. The role supports the Property Manager, handles leasing, and ensures smooth operation of the 304-unit community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• 1+ years in a sales oriented role and/or 6+ months of on-site multi-family leasing experience or related experience.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office; YARDI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept rental payments and post rent to YARDI.
• Primarily leasing for the property and assist leasing office.
• Maintain accurate monthly commission sheets for bonus payments.
• Assume Property Manager’s duties when PM is unavailable.
• Tour property and model units; target apartments.
• Process applications; inform PM of qualification status; follow up with applicants.
• Type leases and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in and orient new residents.
• Assist renewals; distribute and follow-up on notices.
• Answer resident questions about community, work orders, rent, rules.
• Ensure work orders are handled satisfactorily; enforce policies.
