Job summary

Timberland Partners Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our White Bear Woods location in White Bear Lake, MN. The role supports the Property Manager with leasing, tenancy administration, and resident relations.

The position involves processing payments, touring the property, handling applications, and coordinating renewals. Strong customer service and MS Office skills with YARDI experience are preferred. Competitive benefits and 401(k) with match offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1+ years in a sales-oriented role and/or 6+ months of on-site multifamily leasing experience, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• YARDI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept rental payments and post rent to YARDI.
• Primarily leasing for the property and assisting the leasing office.
• Maintain accurate monthly commission sheets for bonus payments.
• Assume the Property Manager’s duties in the Manager’s absence.
• Tour the property and target apartments/models.
• Process applications and inform the Property Manager of status.
• Type leases and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the date.
• Orient new residents to the community.
• Assist in renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
• Answer residents’ questions about the community, work orders, rent, and rules.
• Ensure all work orders are handled satisfactorily.
• Assist with enforcing community policies and rules.
