Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking a full-time Community Manager in West Covina, CA to oversee daily operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction. This role requires 24/7 on-call availability and serves as the primary contact for residents.

Lead staff, supervise leasing and maintenance, and manage budgets while ensuring policy compliance and strong resident relations. You will drive marketing initiatives, handle sales of homes, and ensure Sun's curb appeal and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business.
• 2+ years property management experience including supervisory role.
• 6 months in sales and leasing experience.
• Knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Markets homes for sale and prepares listing documents.
• Manages rent collection including posting and deposits.
• Handles delinquencies and eviction proceedings per policy.
• Monitors invoices for operating expenses and sales costs.
• Resolves complaints with timely, guideline-consistent solutions.
• Coordinates team member selection and development.
• Oversees leases, renewals, and move-ins.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing laws.
• Prepares budgets and supports CapEx planning.
• Maintains community appearance and safety standards.
