Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking an on-site operations assistant to support leasing and daily property management at an apartment community in Texas. The role involves showing apartments, processing applications and assisting with rent collection and compliance.

Weekend and possible evening hours may be required. Responsibilities include coordinating with the leasing and maintenance teams, assisting with marketing activities, and ensuring adherence to community rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License or reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and information.
• Basic math skills including percentages, ratios and graphs.
• Reasoning skills to follow written/oral instructions and solve simple problems.
• Beginner experience with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process new applications, re-certifications and provide information to compliance department.
• Show apartments to prospective residents.
• Handle lease negotiations and renewals.
• Assist property manager in overseeing leasing and maintenance staff.
• Assist with marketing and leasing activities as requested.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits and petty cash records; handle delinquent rents and evictions.
• Assist manager with resident relations and enforcing community rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
