Job summary

New Standard Equities is seeking a Porter to maintain the grounds, leasing office, and community spaces across our multifamily properties in Southern California. You will support the maintenance team, assist with trash removal, cleaning, and basic repairs to ensure a welcoming living environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience, valid driver’s license, and strong customer-service skills to interact with residents and staff daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Bi-lingual a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Clean common areas and assist with trash removal daily.
• Assist with market-ready units and make-ready tasks.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor/Community Director and perform assigned maintenance tasks.
• Respond to emergencies during work hours and on-call.
