Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the entire operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, budgeting, and customer service, ensuring compliance with policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of fair housing laws, and the ability to coordinate with the Regional Manager for strategic planning and risk management. This full-time position offers benefits and a performance-based compensation package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under Regional Manager supervision.
• Lead on-site staff: screen, hire, train, coach, and develop staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts; monitor financial records and reporting.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and charges; ensure timely processing and coding of invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines.
• Manage resident relations, complaints, and retention programs to improve occupancy.
