Job summary

Asset Living, a nationwide property management firm, is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, administration, risk management, and ensure compliance with policies.

As an on-site leader, you will implement annual budgets, monitor deposits and rent, coordinate marketing, handle resident concerns, and ensure safety and fair housing compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff following company directives.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor rent collections.
• Promote staff performance through coaching and training.
• Manage leasing, marketing plans, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and retention.
• Head emergency team and handle property emergencies per guidelines.
