Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

Regular attendance, leadership, cost control, leasing strategies, resident relations, and timely reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all housing community operations on-site under the Regional Manager.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitoring rent deposits and charges.
• Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.
