Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the full on-site operation of a housing community under regional supervision. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk, ensuring compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes budgeting, marketing plans, lease closure, and incident-free operations, with strong focus on resident relations and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community under supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management on-site.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, fair housing, and liability guidelines.
• Lead emergency response for the property and manage service requests.
