Job summary

Beach Front Property Management, Inc. is seeking a part-time Key Holder to support administrative and maintenance duties at our Los Angeles property. The role requires on-site living and reports to the Regional Property Supervisor.

Responsibilities include grounds care, basic maintenance, and keeping outdoor areas tidy. This is an at-will, part-time position with a $19.00/hour pay and an onsite 1 bed/1 bath apartment discount.

Qualifications

• Experience with daily cleaning and janitorial duties indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to operate hand tools and grounds keeping equipment (lawnmower, trimmer, etc.).
• Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.
• Good communication with co-workers and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for grounds including watering flowers and shrubbery, etc. as required.
• Rakes gravel leaves and grass trimmings off sidewalks, paths, and other areas.
• Maintains grounds keeping equipment.
• Continually inspect property and improvements, recording deficiencies and informing the District Manager or Regional Property Supervisor of them immediately.
• Maintain courteous and continuous communication with employees, residents, applicants, and vendors.
• Picks up debris, litter and trash including enclosed dumpster areas. Empties trash cans, Removes graffiti. May clean restrooms and laundry rooms.
• Replaces burned out light bulbs and fluorescent light bulbs.
• Follows all applicable safety rules and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
