Job summary

Hensel Phelps seeks an experienced Project Superintendent for a full-time, on-site role at a designated Montgomery location. The PS will manage construction activities, coordinate trade partners, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive schedule performance on large commercial projects.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. The role requires a 4-year degree in civil/structural fields or construction management, 7–8 years of experience, and proficiency with Primavera, Prolog,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong communication skills.
• 7–8 years of experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proficient with MS Office, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety planning as part of pre-job activities and daily operations.
• Enforce all safety regulations and drive the safety culture on the project.
• Oversee quality control and collaborate with QC staff and trade partners.
• Develop and manage the project schedule and logistics plans.
• Coordinate field personnel, equipment, and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain project control systems to reflect current status and forecasts.
• Foster relationships with owner, architect, engineer and trade partners.
