Job summary

Hensel Phelps is hiring an Area Superintendent to oversee specific project areas, manage safety, schedule, budget, and quality, and lead field engineers. You’ll supervise trades, coordinate with partners, and drive on-site performance to deliver milestones.

The role requires a civil/structural background and 5–6 years of large-project experience, with strong planning, coordination, and cost-tracking abilities. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in civil/structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 5–6 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• CPR & First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise and mentor the company workforce in their area.
• Coordinate field construction work with trade partners and plan schedules.
• Participate in weekly schedule and management meetings with trade partners.
• Promote and enforce the site safety plan within their area.
• Maintain project scheduling for their area to ensure timely completion.
