Job summary

MGE Underground is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to support project managers and field crews across California. You will manage project documentation, scheduling, and client communications while coordinating with internal teams and outside agencies to ensure timely construction.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, proficiency with Word/Excel, and the ability to travel to job sites. This is an on-site role supporting a growing utility infrastructure contractor.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of Construction Administration or related experience.
• Proficient in Word/Excel and able to learn new software.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites as needed to support projects.
• Review job packs and confirm readiness for construction.
• Mark out and submit USA tickets and site survey requests.
• Notify government agencies regarding planned work.
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, and tracking of materials.
• Coordinate subcontractor services and site logistics.
• Support pre-construction activities and scheduling.
• Review drawings and crew instructions; communicate with clients and teams.
