Job summary

MGE Underground is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to support project managers and field crews across California. You will be hands-on in project phases, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to keep schedules and budgets on track.

This role requires strong time management, clear communication, and the ability to travel to job sites as needed. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and relevant construction administration experience, with a commitment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of Construction Administration or related experience preferred.
• Experience in construction/utility industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to visit job sites as needed.
• Review job packs and confirm readiness for construction.
• Mark out and submit USA tickets and site survey requests.
• Notify government agencies regarding planned work.
• Assist with inventory, materials, subcontractors, and expenses.
• Gather close-out documentation from field and submit to clients.
• Support pre-construction activities and set up jobs for start.
• Coordinate subcontractor services (traffic control, cranes, etc.).
• Review drawings and crew instructions.
• Communicate with clients and internal departments about plan and schedule adherence.
