Job summary

Midwest Contracting Inc in Chandler, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project accounting and contract administration for underground wet utility projects, including water, sewer, and storm systems. The role handles lien waivers, preliminary notices, payment applications/draws, and change orders, with light project coordination for Project Managers.

This on-site, in-office position emphasizes accuracy, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with the accounting team;

Qualifications

• Experience in construction accounting, contract administration, or project coordination.
• Knowledge of lien waivers, preliminary notices, retention, and construction billing practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, track, and log lien waivers and file prelims against projects.
• Prepare and track monthly payment applications and draw requests.
• Maintain the change order log and ensure COs reflect in values.
• Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and costs prior to payment.
• Support project managers with scheduling and documentation.
