Job summary

X Contracting in Arizona is seeking a highly experienced Wet Utilities Project Manager to lead field operations, covering water, sewer, and storm drain systems. You will be responsible for full lifecycle management: budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, and documentation while overseeing multiple projects.

The role requires coordinating with design teams and clients, ensuring safety, and mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Engineers on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years’ experience in wet utilities project management.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Skilled in scheduling, forecasting, submittals, and document control.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, B2W, Procore, & Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce contract terms, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor agreements.
• Oversee project progress through meetings, reports, and field oversight.
• Forecast costs, track project performance, and ensure quality standards.
• Support design and delivery for APDM methods (DB, DBB, CMAR, JOC).
• Lead pre-construction and design coordination activities.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, escalating issues as needed.
• Foster team collaboration, safety, and leadership on all project sites.
• Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Engineers.
