Job summary

Alterman Management Group, Inc is seeking a Special Systems Assistant Project Manager to work on-site in Austin, TX. You will report to the lead project manager and handle components, customer interactions, and project execution with emphasis on cost, safety, and quality in alignment with contract requirements.

Key duties include coordinating with the lead PM on critical path activities, preparing documentation, reviewing plans and budgets, monitoring productivity, and attending meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a field supervisory role.
• Teledata construction industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of estimating and field engineering beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead PM with identifying critical path activities and prepare necessary documentation for approval.
• Coordinate and preplan projects: review plans, budgeting, job cost entry, scheduling, and document preparation.
• Monitor productivity, assist with job cost projections, contract interpretation, and attend project meetings as needed.
• Communicate operations information to lead PM and managers for full project understanding.
• Ensure duties align with company policies, safety standards, and mission.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by lead PM to ensure complete and accurate duties.
• Coordinate with Alterman personnel and lead PM to meet expectations and achieve duties.
