Job summary

The ASTA Group, LLC in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead on-site delivery of training, curriculum development, and technology-based instruction support, standing up the Program Management Office and serving as the single point of accountability to the Government.

You will coordinate with COR/ACOR and leadership, align instructors and staff, ensure service-level performance, and drive end-to-end program success in a security-sensitive, DoD/federal environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a project/program manager, including at least 3 years supervising employees.
• Demonstrated experience leading people and managing large, cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience developing strategies to mitigate issues and risks.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• U.S. citizenship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior Government leadership.
• Availability for full-time, on-site performance during core business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site Program Management Office, providing oversight of performance, personnel, administration, scheduling, deliverables, resources, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison to the COR/ACOR and Government leadership, communicating issues promptly and driving timely resolution of concerns, complaints, and grievances.
• Manage and support the instructor and support-staff team, ensuring positions stay filled and personnel meet all qualifications, certifications, and clearance requirements.
• Ensure services consistently meet service-level agreements, acceptable quality levels, and customer expectations.
• Prepare and deliver program deliverables and recurring reports (e.g., staffing/fill-rate, status, and management reports) and participate in periodic program and financial reviews.
• Plan and execute contract phase-in and phase-out activities to ensure continuity of services without disruption.
